I just signed up for some web design classes because I’m tired of not being able to dirty prototype my own [very basic content] sites on the fly. As much as I counsel people to go the extra mile in developing basic competencies in their respective fields (“wanna write about finance? At least take…
Okay, finding a graphic designer has been equivalent to discovering a 4 year old that can speak 10 languages, play a ukulele, recite opinions on the unified field theory, dance to Jay-Z, and hasn’t made his way on to YouTube yet. I can’t even begin to get into how incredibly frustrating it has been (along with ad sales director). Although my mediums of design include PAINT and POWERPOINT, I’m willing to learn. Spiers’ logic seems the most…well, logical I’ve heard.
You asked, “would you survive in a sexless marriage ?”
I say it’s not a marriage.
Ok, the rare instances of love and lifetime partnerships between people who by a sad twist of fate are actually physically unable to engage in sex aside: It’s just my belief that marriage is both an expression of love and the consummation of it. To me, that involves not only the obvious deep affection, respect, and commitment mandatory in one, but the expression of it physically. I just believe if one is missing then the marriage formula is incomplete.
Welcome to 48 Hour Magazine, a raucous experiment in using new tools to erase media’s old limits. As the name suggests, we’re going to write, photograph, illustrate, design, edit, and ship a magazine in two days.
Here’s how it works: Issue Zero begins May 7th. We’ll unveil a theme and you’ll have 24 hours to produce and submit your work. We’ll take the next 24 to snip, mash and gild it. The end results will be a shiny website and a beautiful glossy paper magazine, delivered right to your old-fashioned mailbox. We promise it will be insane. Better yet, it might even work.
2,000 is such a small sample for a 50,000,000 voting populace. if they want a “credible survey”, they should survey 2,000 per region, not just .004% of the voting populace.
Hindi rin. If they would take 2,000 per region pero they all have the same mind set. It would still deliver a similar result. :) Let’s face it Gelo. We are in the Philippines. Hindi lahat ng tao katulad nating marunong mag isip :) DIBAA?
Read. The science of surveys involve statistical laws, data gathering/integrity principles, and data interpretation. This is why there are big companies that specialize in this, because it is an accepted and reliable method of predicting results.
Do you see the numbers assocated with regions, and class ABCDE? That means samples were taken from each demographic.
As for the numbers, taking a massive survey involving much more respondents will not be economically feasible, but what’s important is, that number of respondents have historically been enough to accurately determine reliable results within a reasonable margin.
